Announcement of The 4th China Service Innovation Forum

"China Service Innovation Forum (SIF)" is a top academic forum in the field of service innovation in China. In the past, three SIF conferences have been successfully held in Tsinghua University in 2007, 2008 and 2010, respectively, and have already become an high-end platform for attendees to share new progress in theoretical research, successful business cases and policy resources in service innovation.

As China is entering the new era of internet economy, there is a huge "window of opportunity" of service innovation. The implementation of the strategy of “Innovation driven development” , the continued evolution and the explosive growth of Internet economy, especially the wide application of mobile Internet are profoundly changing the rules and patterns of service innovation. The innovation of China's service industry is more connected, open and integrated, and different industries have started to lay more and more emphasizes on building new competitive advantage through service innovation. There is no doubt that a revolutionary era based on internet economy and service innovation is coming.

The main theme of this forum will focus on "Service Innovation in the Era of Internet Economy". The invited speakers and attendees include famous scholars and experts from top universities and institutions, successful business leaders and entrepreneurs in the filed of service innovation, and key policy makers in the department of national macro economic management. The speeches will include deep discussions on the updated theories, practices and policy implications of service innovation in the era of Internet economy, in order to provide more insights and guidance for the future development of service innovation.

The content of the paper submitted must be highly related to the topics of this forum, and the expected length is about 8000 words. Please include author's name, institutional affiliation, title, address and zip code, phone number and Email in the title page.The full version of paper should be mailed to rcti@tsinghua.edu.cn with email title starting with “SIF" (please note that the mailed hard copies are not accepted).

The committee of prime reviewer will review all the paper received and those accepted will be distributed to conference attendees in form of CD. Also, good papers will be recommended to be published on CSSCI journals or series on domestic service innovation and entrepreneurship in the form of special issue or column.
