The first publication of theBluebook of National Innovation: Annual Report on China’s Innovation Development (2014)consists of one general report and nine special reports. The general report evaluates the basic situation of China’s innovation development and nine special reports about the innovation situation of China from three aspects of state, industry and enterprise, especially making thorough comparative analysis of the self-renovation and services innovation of the electronic information and manufacturing industry, the automobile industry and the recent attractive high speed train industry, the achievements and shortcomings of innovations by small and medium sized enterprises as well as the large scaled enterprises, and comparative analysis of China’s comprehensive competitive strength on innovation with other international leading innovation oriented countries.
