Recently, Elsevier and Shanghai Ranking Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd. jointly released the 2024 China's Most Cited Scholars list. Now in its 11th consecutive year since 2015, the list is based on data from Elsevier's Scopus global citation database and uses the first-level discipline classification standards of the Ministry of Education to systematically evaluate the international academic influence of Chinese scholars. A total of 6,388 scholars from 547 universities, enterprises, and research institutions were included in this year's list.

Four experts from the Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University were selected into the lists for two fields: "Management Science and Engineering" (135 scholars in total) and "Business Administration" (111 scholars in total). They are as follows: Professor Chen Jin, Director of the Center, was listed in the "Management Science and Engineering" field; Associate Professor Li Xibao, a full-time research fellow at the Center, was listed in the "Business Administration" field; two academic committee members of the Center, Professor Guan Jiancheng from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was listed in the "Management Science and Engineering" field, and Professor Li Yuan from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was listed in the "Business Administration" field.

Chen Jin

Li Xibao
Associate Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University; Full-time Research Fellow at the Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University. Associate Professor Li has been selected into the "China's Most Cited Scholars" list for 3 consecutive times since 2022.

Guan Jiancheng
Professor at the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Member of the Academic Committee of the Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University. Professor Guan has been selected into the "China's Most Cited Scholars" list for 11 consecutive times since 2014.

Li Yuan
Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Member of the Academic Committee of the Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University. Professor Li has been selected into the "China's Most Cited Scholars" list for 6 consecutive times since 2019.
