Theme of iKM2021:

“Innovation and Knowledge Management for Dynamic Capabilities”

The International Conference on Innovation & Knowledge Management (iKM 2021) will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China on 23-24 October, 2021. As a forum where the latest insights of knowledge management and innovation are shared, discussed and spread, it expects your participation.

The iKM, an annual event, was initiated by Research Center for Technological Innovation, Tsinghua University (RCTI). The Center is aiming at a world class research center for innovation policy and management.

Hangzhou is the most beautiful and elegant city in the world (Marco Polo). Located at the head of Hangzhou Bay, the City grew to prominence as the southern terminus of the Grand Canal and has been one of the most renowned and prosperous cities in China for much of the last millennium. The city's West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage site immediately west of the city, is among its best-known attractions. Hangzhou is an emerging technology and innovation hub in China, it also hosted the eleventh G20 summit in 2016.

Prof. CHEN Jin is the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Knowledge Management Studies (Scopus) and International Journal of Innovation Studies, the associate editor of Technological Forecasting and Social Change (SSCI), International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management (ESCI). Besides, he is also on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Perspectives (AMP) (SSCI), and International Journal of Technology Management (SSCI, Scopus).

Honorary Guest Speaker: Prof. Ikujiro Nonaka

Ikujiro Nonaka is a Japanese organizational theorist and Professor Emeritus at the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy of the Hitotsubashi University, best known for his study of knowledge management. Prof. Nonaka has proposed the SECI (Socialization-Externalization-Combination-Internalization) model, to present the spiraling knowledge processes of interaction between explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge. In 2008, the Wall Street Journal listed him as one of the most influential persons on business thinking, and The Economist included him in its "Guide to Management Ideas and Gurus".

Submission of full papers: 10 Oct., 2021

Notification of acceptance: 15 Oct., 2021

Full paper in double column format. The first page shall include paper title, authors' names, affiliation, and short abstract.
